The Pioneer Mystery Box Promise

We do not add unsigned merchandise, promotional items or low-value filler simply to increase the item count.
Each box will meet or exceed its stated minimum Pioneer retail value, while still remaining a genuine surprise.

Is every item inside signed?
Yes. Every item included in a Pioneer Mystery Box is authentically signed. We do not add unsigned merchandise, promotional items or filler to increase the item count.
Can I request a specific actor, character or item?
You can tell us about your favourites and preferences when ordering. We will consider these wherever possible, but specific talent, characters, franchises, item formats, inscriptions and pen colours cannot be guaranteed.
How is the minimum retail value calculated?
The guaranteed minimum value is based on the current or recent Pioneer Signings retail value of the signed items included in the box.
Could I receive an item I already own?
We will use the information you provide about the collector’s existing collection to reduce the likelihood of close duplicates. However, because the contents remain a surprise, duplicates cannot be completely ruled out.
What is included in each level?
Discovery contains two signed items with a minimum combined retail value of £90. Collector contains three signed items with a minimum combined retail value of £175, including at least one item valued at £75 or more. Premium contains four signed items with a minimum combined retail value of £350, including at least one item valued at £150 or more.
Can I buy a Mystery Box as a gift?
Yes. Select the gift option when ordering and tell us about the recipient. You can also add their name, the occasion and an optional gift message.
Can Mystery Boxes be returned?
Mystery Boxes are subject to the cancellation and return rights set out in our Terms and Conditions. Where a statutory change-of-mind right applies, the complete box and all included items must be returned. Individual items cannot be retained while unwanted contents are returned for a partial refund. This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or the box does not meet its advertised item-count or minimum-value guarantee.
When will my Mystery Box be dispatched?
Mystery Boxes are individually curated and are normally dispatched within 10–14 working days. During particularly busy periods, including when the Pioneer team is attending private signings, conventions or other events, dispatch may take slightly longer. We will contact you if we expect any significant delay.
Will international duties be included?
International orders will be handled in line with Pioneer Signings’ current shipping terms. Where an eligible duties-paid service is available, applicable import VAT, customs duties and handling charges may be collected at checkout. Where this is unavailable, charges may be payable by the recipient before delivery.
