Nalini Krishan is an Australian actress of Indo-Fijian descent best known for playing Barriss Offee, a Jedi Padawan and apprentice to Luminara Unduli, in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, appearing in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. Though her live-action screen time was limited, the character of Barriss Offee went on to have a significant afterlife within the franchise’s animated storytelling, particularly in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where her arc took a notably darker turn that expanded considerably on the brief glimpse audiences saw in the films.
